Friend of mine who's body was falling apart due to weight and failing parts has been turning it around . This is what he wrote about what he's doing:
Here's what I take each day religiously.
800 mg Alpha-lipoic acid(spread out over four times a day)
1000 mg green tea extract (spread out)
30000 mcg of allicin(odorless garlic extract, again spread out)
100 mg potasium
2 tablets Super B complex (too much to list here)
200 mg of red wine extract
250 mg magnesium (might up that to 500 mg soon)
600 mg calcium
10000 IUs of D3
4000 mg vitamin C
I need to find policosanol online as Wally World doesn't carry it. That's the last part of the PAGG stack that really is what is driving the weight loss

John R Reynolds: Just a note here on Tim Ferris and his book, Four Hour Body. I believe him when he says I can add 30 lbs of lean muscle in six weeks with four hours gym time. He's been spot on with everything so far. My energy level is way up. I sleep sounder and for shorter amounts of time because of him. Right now I need to get to my goal of 190 lbs(ONLY 52 lbs away, lol) and then adding. My back, glutes, traps and hamstrings and much stronger because of the kettle bell and that's only three times a week.

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them; and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

I can understand where you're coming from, Heather. I actually feel the same way if Romney becomes the candidate. It's as if the Party no longer wants to listen or give weight to the conservative core. I've long considered that conservatives are the equivalent of blacks in the Democratic party. Our votes are expected because... where ya gonna go? But seeing the line of "GOP chosen" contenders over the years (Dole, W, McLame, Romney)... I';m not gonna vote for "Democrat-Lite" this time around. Let the GOP learn to live with loss. As long as we take the Senate bigtime and increase seats in the House, we can override vetoes, deny appointments and investigate anyone out of office.
a great vid-article where Lord Monckton explains the fallacy of Man-Made Global Warming, exposing the Left's agenda.

( I may go back and edit/rewrite parts of this to make it more MY rhoughts if I disagree or have more to add)
Immigration
Core Conservative Belief: Conservatives believe in immigration as an important part of American vibrancy. They also believe that America is weakening itself by allowing illegal immigrants to stream into the country unchecked, both because this influx saps America's sovereignty over her citizens and because the illegal immigrant pathways can also serve terrorists.
Progressive Belief: It's racist to keep illegal immigrants out of the country. For that reason, there should not be any hurdles in the illegal immigrant's path to the full panoply of American rights and welfare services.
The Supreme Court
Core Conservative Belief: Conservatives believe that the role of the Supreme Court is to examine state and federal laws, and lower court decisions to determine whether they comport with the written Constitution. An even lowest common denominator belief is that the Supreme Court should examine only whether federal matters comport with the written Constitution, and to interfere with states only if the states enact laws that conflict or overlap with federal matters.
Progressive Belief: The Supreme Court is to decide what is right and what is wrong - and it can get help for this by looking to each justice's own private standards of morality, to dominant cultural trends, and to foreign systems. Having examined the moral position, the Court should then direct policy consistent with its findings.
Abortion
Core Conservative Belief: Whether you're pro-Choice or pro-Life, Conservatives who are being honest with themselves admit that Roe v. Wade was a badly decided opinion that, without any Constitutional authorization, represented a federal power grab of something that ought to be a states' rights issue. Roe v. Wade should be overturned, so that the question of abortion can be returned to the states, where it belongs. An alternative, of course, is to amend the Constitution so that it specifically allows or disallows abortion.
Progressive Belief: Abortion is an absolute, fundamental right that must remain inviolate. The main reason Progressives must win the White House is to put a stop to the Originalist Supreme Court justices that Conservatives have placed, and will continue to place, on the Supreme Court. Only a Democratic President will appoint justices who will maintain Roe v. Wade's existence.
The Iraq War
Core Conservative Belief: Conservatives believe that, whether or not we made the right decision in 2003 to invade Iraq, it is a done deal. Our only responsibility now is to fight wholeheartedly and to win.
Progressive Belief: President Bush got us into the War to for nefarious reasons, mostly to satisfy his oil buddies in Texas and Cheney's friends at Halliburton. Now, to punish the President and the whole corrupt Bush Administration, we must leave Iraq immediately, regardless of the consequences to America, to Iraq, or to world security.
Islamic Terrorism
Core Conservative Belief: (a) Islamic terrorism is real, (b) it is the product of a totalitarian religious ideology that has as its ultimate goal the destruction of non-Muslim Western culture, (c) there is no middle ground given its goal, and (d) we must fight it.
Progressive Belief: Islamic terrorism is the work of a few people angry at the US (and especially at George Bush), and the best thing we can do to placate these people is to (a) leave Iraq; (b) abandon Israel; (c) dump George Bush; and (d) engage in dialogue with the Islamic leaders.
Taxes
Core Conservative Belief: Government is a bad money manager. People make money grow, and lower taxes allow for a livelier, growing economy. The inevitable result of trusting people with their own money is that the government, despite lower taxes, sees increased revenue (which is nicely balanced out by lower costs).
Progressive Belief: People cannot be trusted to make the right decisions with their money. It's better if the government takes and redistributes wealth, notwithstanding the fact that doing so slows the economy.
Religion
Lowest common denominator Conservative beliefs: (a) Religion is a good thing; (b) It's okay if people's religious values shape their political beliefs; (c) It's okay to acknowledge America's predominant Christianity by nodding to Christmas and Easter, as long as no one is forced to observe those holidays or discriminated against for not observing those holidays; (d) People should be free to worship without government interference in their beliefs; (e) Neither government nor business should be forced to change their practices to accommodate one belief system over others (see here and here for examples of some of the changes demanded).
Progressive Belief: Traditional Christianity is dangerous and must be stifled at all costs, everywhere. Islam has some problems but, to make up for the damage the Bush Administration has done to our standing in the Muslim world, we must accommodate Islamic demands in America.
America
Core Conservative Belief: While America has flaws, we are proud of her, since we believe that the American system and American values are the best human systems of governance yet created.
Progressive Belief: America is an imperialist bully that seeks to destroy non-white people, whether within or outside of America. Her power must be reined in at all costs.
Government
Core Conservative Belief: Conservatives believe in Thoreau's dictum that "That government is best which governs least." Much as they are proud of America, Conservatives trust American people more than any government. To them, government is an artifice that can only legitimately govern with the consent of the governed. Conservatives also believe that individuals are smarter with respect to their own interest than the collective wisdom of government.
Progressive Belief: Progressives believe that government is responsible for fulfilling all citizen needs in all ways. They also believe that the government's collective wisdom about individual interests is greater than individuals' own knowledge about themselves.
Gun Control
Core Conservative Belief: Conservatives believe that the only way a people can remain free is to have their Second Amendment right to carry arms. They like to point to Nazi Germany as an example of what can happen when a government with totalitarian tendencies successfully denies its people the right to carry arms. Conservatives also believe that, when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. They like to point to London and Washington, D.C., as examples of what happens when ordinary citizens are denied access to arms.
Progressive Belief: The risks associated with guns are so high that it is government's moral obligation to try to remove them from the population entirely, even if that effort is imperfect (see, e.g., London and Washington, D.C.)
The Nature of Human Beings
Core Conservative Belief: Conservatives believe that human nature is a combination of good and bad and that society's role is to control people's bad impulses through checks and balances that permit people's good sides to flourish.
Progressive Belief: Progressives believe that humans and society are products of their environment and, therefore, perfectible. The role of society is to mold people into better individuals and, ergo, better societies.
Multiculturalism
Core Conservative Belief: Conservatives' idea of multiculturalism is still the old Melting Pot idea: people who want to come here should buy into our basic systems of values and history, learn to speak English, and enrich our culture with their background while merging with the whole.
Progressive Belief: Progressives believe that every other culture is superior to American culture, so immigrants and ethnic enclaves should be encouraged to remain separate and distinct. Not only that, they believe that it is the responsibility of ordinary Americans to yield in every instance when there is a conflict between the dominant American culture and an ethnic subculture.
Climate Change
Core Conservative Belief: Conservatives believe that climate change is happening, but they do not believe that the debate is settled as to the anthropocentric idea that it is entirely the West's fault. They recognize that the earth's climate is in a constant state of flux, and want more, less politically charged, information before panic begins. They like the idea of alternative energy sources, since they not only enjoy clean air and water, but would also like to see fewer Petrodollars flow to tyrannically governed nations. Again, though, they do not believe in going off half cocked.
Progressive Belief: Progressives believe that humans are entirely responsible for climate change, that it is an impending catastrophe that could potentially end our way of life, and that the only thing to be done is to take drastic measures, even if they undermine entirely modern civilization.

When Corporations are taxed or overly regulated they don't pay taxes or the costs of the regulations, they merely pass them on in the form of higher prices to consumers or lower dividends to their owners/shareholders; corporations never actually pay taxes they only collect them. A perfect example is the new monthly fees charged by BofA to their customers who use a debit card, because of the regulatory framework of the Dodd-Frank Act, banks are limited what they can charge for credit/debit card purchases, in order to make up for lost revenue they just passed a new fee on to their consumers. The argument for this was "the banks are charging the merchants too much, so we should limit the transaction fee to make it easier on the merchant and then the consumer". When you affect the bank's bottom line then the free debit card use and checking convieniences are no longer free. And correct me if I'm wrong, but merchants haven't lowered their prices, right? I still know places that have a minimum purchase to use plastic. So you the consumer know get it from both ends!
If you use a BofA debit card thank your local democrat.
The second point is this country was never ever formed to be a democracy. A democracy is "mob rule"; it's as the framers described "a tyranny of the majority". We are Constitutional Republic.
These morons, overstate the influence of corporations. Corporations don't vote, corporations don't run a slate of candidates for elected office, corporations exist to only make a profit for their shareholders.
(In some cases it's quite the opposite as I bared wittness to in my state. The two largest employer corporations in Nevada (Casinos) were literally told if they didn't ensure Reid was elected, they would lose all pull they had in D.C.. Not just with him, but his entire party! They played with the major union (Culinary) and orchestrated setting up polls inside Casinos (can you imagine another state allowing voting in a location with active gambling and alcohol served?) and a fleet of busses. Sent on their lunch breaks, each handed a scripted ballot and told " if he doesn't get re-elected, you could lose your job!". )
And that's the problem for these people; they are marxists, they aren't intellectually honest to tell you that they are anti-capitalist, anti-free market and at the core... anti-American.
There are two separate problems that are hurting our economy. The first is so much American Capital is overseas because the tax laws are so favorable. We need to find away to bring this money home and have it start working here. Short of passing the Fair Tax, which does away with all taxes in favor of a national sales tax there should be some sort of tax amnesty given to American capital brought back here.
As for foreign investment in WS, I don't see that as a problem; whenever foreign money is put into play in our economy it helps to spur economic development here.
The issue of corp. taxes is a red herring for the most stupid amongst us. As I said, they don't pay taxes and like all businesses these costs are passed on in the form of higher prices or reduced dividends.
The second problem is the amount of US debt held by foreigners, particularly the Chinese. We had this debate last month and I see no need to replay it. Obviously, the necessary solutions as to the causes will not be effectuated until some time after January, 2013.
Candidate Herman Cain's "999 Plan" would implement the fair tax, which is a national retail sales tax. It will eliminate ALL other federal taxes, everything. No more withholding, no more federal income tax, capital gains, corporate, estate etc...No more IRS.
In return there is a 22% national retail sales tax. Now this sounds scary on it's face and would seem to hit the poorest the hardest, but you have to look more carefully at how it would work.
Because of the regressive nature of the tax every month every household in the US will receive a pre-bate amount which is the calculated cost of the tax for household necessities (the number based on the poverty level). You might say wait a minute we have to pay 22% tax on top of every purchase we make. Yes, but you have to understand macro-economics ( the left likes to use the tax code to punish activity they don't like, such as accumulating wealth) The "fixed cost" of complying with the internal revenue code is eliminated at every level of the production chain, secondly the actual tax burden is removed at every level of the supply chain.
(Remember the Left's idea was to use a VAT (Value Added Tax) where they would add a new tax at EVERY STAGE of a product. From it's raw componants, manufacture, assembly, distrobution, transportation... Would you really wanna pay $25 for a Cobb salad? All of that IN ADDITION to all the taxes you currently pay... AND a much bigger IRS to boot... Jack-booted, you might say.)
The economic models which were developed by people a lot smarter determined that the final cost of the finished product will be reduced by approx. 20%
These same uber bright economists, economic professors, staticians etc... determined that the amount of the tax to replace all previous fed. taxes would have to be at 22% in order to make the plan revenue neutral. If you want to read more about it with a clearer explanation than I provided you can go to fairtax.org.
For anyone who might look at this as a PSA I am going to enlighten on some of the more fallacious statements that you may have heard.
But first, why did they just single out corporations rather than corporations AND Unions?
Unions provide more money directly to candidates, as do corporate PACS. They provide even more in terms of "in kind contributions" to their favorite candidates.
1. Corporations by Fed. law are strictly prohibited from donating any $ to any candidate for federal office from its CORPORATE accounts.
2. Corporations may set up PACs and voluntarily solicit contributions from its employees and make contributions to candidates within limits set by Congress. Just like any person or other organization.
3. In 2010 the SCOTUS in Citizens United v. FEC, came to the conclusion that the Fed. law that prohibited Corp.s from participating in the electoral process by spending money on behalf of candidates was an un-constitutional violation of the Corp's 1st Amendment Rights. ( A corporation is made up of people and they are still taxed like people, so they have the right to have a voice on issues)
4. The decision allows Corporations to spend its money on behalf of political candidates (using its corp. funds) provided that the expenditures are independent of the campaign. There is no way of determining the impact of the decision as of yet, given that it helps both parties.
5. There are more than Corp. and Trade Group PACs providing funding to candidates. There are also Union PACs who donate more money than any other classification of PAC (and unlike Corp. PACs) the donations to the PAC are NOT voluntary as they are taken out of the Union members dues whether the Union member wishes to support the PAC or not.
6. The single biggest expenditure of any campaign is radio and tv ads. The Fed. govt. without violating the Constitution can not require the broadcasters to provide free air time.
7. Public Financing of Congressional campaigns will not work for reasons to numerous, but even the most simple among us should be able to figure that out.
8. There has never been a study directly linking PAC $ to the passage or defeat of a bill. (NOTE: Gary knows, he did his Honors Thesis on this topic.) It is a classic chicken or egg problem and there is no honest way to quantify or measure the data.
9. Unions spend more $ than any type of PAC and far outpace Corp. PACs. In fact, last time I looked at the numbers Unions contributed almost $1 for every $1 contributed by every other type of PAC. And we are still not talking about the in-kind contributions made to their favored candidates.
10. Almost 50% of the citizenry pays NO federal taxes, yet they receive a significant amount of federal assistance (welfare etc....) through various wealth transfer programs. These people have no PAC but they sure are getting a free ride. Don't tell me they are un-represented.
11. Corporations get blamed by those who are most ignorant of the political process for the fact that they supposedly have a disproportionate power in the political scheme, (and it is usually those Corporations who traditionally support Republican candidates) but yet Unions are immune such criticism and to a certain effect they have a greater effect or impact on policy in more areas and they tend to have a greater impact on our treasury.

Conflicts where too many, here in our country, abroad where the battles and terror continues and within Islam's faith... that do not want this to end and those who wage terror to be vanquished. I find co-existance with that to be incompatible.

The odds of this has been calculated at one in eighteen septillion and luck like this could only come once every quadrillion years.
Although Ms Ginther now lives in Las Vegas, she won all four of her lotteries in Texas.
Three of her wins, all in two-year intervals, were by scratch-off tickets bought at the same mini mart in the town of Bishop.

"I know all about that. In the late Twenties, when I was a sophomore at USC, I was a socialist myself -- but not when I left. The average college kid idealistically wishes everybody could have ice cream and cake for every meal. But as he gets older and gives more thought to his and his fellow man's responsibilities, he finds that it can't work out that way -- that some people just won't carry their load.... I believe in welfare -- a welfare work program. I don't think a fella should be able to sit on his backside and receive welfare. I'd like to know why well-educated idiots keep apologizing for lazy and complaining people who think the world owes them a living. I'd like to know why they make excuses for cowards who spit in the faces of the police and then run behind the judicial sob sisters. I can't understand these people who carry placards to save the life of some criminal, yet have no thought for the innocent victim."
And yet another article, this time referencing clarifying statements from Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black, Congress and even the person who designed the 1st and 14th Amendments.

"John Bingham, aka “father of the 14th Amendment”, was an abolitionist congressman from Ohio who prosecuted Lincoln’s assassins. Ten years earlier, he stated on the House floor:
“All from other lands, who by the terms of [congressional] laws and a compliance with their provisions become naturalized, are adopted citizens of the United States; all other persons born within the Republic, of parents owing allegiance to no other sovereignty, are natural born citizens. Gentleman can find no exception to this statement touching natural-born citizens except what is said in the Constitution relating to Indians.” (Cong. Globe, 37th, 2nd Sess., 1639 (1862))"
"QUESTION: How can a person whose birth status was governed by the United Kingdom be considered a natural born citizen of the United States?
ANSWER: It’s not possible.
Such a person is born with divided allegiance. Such a person is born owing fealty to the monarchy of the United Kingdom.
ATTORNEY GENERAL JEREMIAH BLACK
According to a July 18, 1859 official proclamation by former Attorney General Black (as reported in the New York Times on July 20, 1859), only those who never owed fealty to another nation may be President:
“Here none but a native can be President…A native and a naturalized American may therefore go forth with equal security over every sea and through every land under Heaven…They are both of them American citizens, and their exclusive allegiance is due to the Government of the United States. One of them never did owe fealty elsewhere, and the other, at the time of his naturalization…threw off, renounced and abjured forever all allegiance to every foreign prince, potentate, State and sovereignty whatever, and especially to that sovereign whose subject he had previously been. “"
"As to the meaning of the term “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” in the 14th Amendment, Senator Howard stated:
“The first amendment is to section one, declaring that all “persons born in the United States and Subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the States wherein they reside. I do not propose to say anything on that subject except that the question of citizenship has been fully discussed in this body as not to need any further elucidation, in my opinion. This amendment which I have offered is simply declaratory of what I regard as the law of the land already, that every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons. (Congressional Globe, 39th Congress pg. 2890 (1866))
Notice that Howard lists several classes of persons who are not citizens under the 14th Amendment:
- foreigners
- aliens
- families of ambassadors or ministers
The statement was clarified a few days earlier when Howard stated:
“That means ‘subject to the complete jurisdiction thereof.’ What do we mean by ‘complete jurisdiction thereof? Not owing allegiance to anybody else. That is what it means.” (Congressional Globe, 39th Congress pg. 2893 (1866))
Those who owed allegiance to “anybody else” are not natural born citizens of the United States.
Examine the following statement by Representative Thayer from the same period:
“To accomplish this great purpose, the bill declares, in the first place, that all persons born in the United States, and not subject to any foreign Power, are citizens of the United States. Now, I do not regard that as the enunciation of any new principle. It is, in my judgment, but declaratory of the existing law. According to my apprehension, every man born in the United States, and not owing allegiance to a foreign Power, is a citizen of the United States.” – Rep. Thayer, March 2, 1866. (Congressional Globe, 39th Congress, 1st Session, p. 1152 (1866))"
"Obama supporters cling to a desperate argument. They claim that another country’s nationality laws should not have any bearing in the US. But this is clearly false. In a previous article entitled, “The State Department Has “Always” Recognized And Abided By Foreign Laws Concerning US Citizens Born With Dual Nationality“, I highlighted an official letter from Secretary of State Lansing to Senator Dodge wherein Lansing educated the Senator regarding the requirement of citizen parents so that children born here not be subject to foreign military duty.
If a child is born in the US to a father who owes allegiance to a foreign power, that child also owes allegiance to that foreign power. This was always our law. It was US law at the time of the adoption of the Constitution, at the time Obama was born, and it is US law today. Nothing has changed."
" Obama chose to give preference to his father’s nationality by stating that his birth status was directly tied to his father and not his mother.
Read the quote from his web site again:
“As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.”
I will finish this report with a question:
Why did Obama feel compelled to state that his birth status was governed by the British Nationality Act of 1948 rather than the 14th Amendment?"

American Thinker: The ‘Truth’ About the Consequences of Not Raising the Debt Ceiling?

"But Secretary Geithner knows that congressional delay in raising the debt limit will in no way cause a default on our national debt. If Congress refuses to raise the debt ceiling, the federal government will still have more than enough money to fully service our debt. Next year, about 7 percent of all projected federal government expenditures will go to interest on our debt. Tax revenue is projected to cover at least 70 percent of all government expenditures. So, under any circumstances, there will be plenty of money to pay our creditors.
Moreover, as the Congressional Research Service has noted, the Treasury secretary himself has the discretion to decide which bills to pay first in the event that a cash flow shortage occurs. Thus, it is he who would have to consciously, and needlessly, choose to default on our debt if the debt ceiling is not promptly raised upon reaching it. It takes a lot of chutzpah to preemptively blame congressional Republicans for a default only he could cause."
American Thinker: Does Obama Tell the Truth About Anything?

"Here is a reminder of yet another Obama campaign promise unfulfilled. His administration would be the most transparent in history, Obama vowed, but a new study by the Center for Public Integrity finds that the White House has been omitting names and details from the visitors’ log.
“Five junior staff aides together received more than 4,440 visits,” Politico reported. “By contrast, then-chief of staff Rahm Emanuel famed for his workaholic schedule, is listed as having fewer than 500 visits.”
Meanwhile, Obama’s personal assistant Reggie Love is recorded as receiving nearly 300 visits in the West Wing-including celebrities and friends of Obama’s.
The study also found that less than 1 percent of roughly 500,000 visits during Obama’s first eight months in office have been disclosed.
The main problem with the shoddy visitors’ log is that it obscures key details of meetings with relevant political figures. AFL-CIO head Richard Trumka, Obama campaign bundlers, lobbyists, and drug company CEOs regularly visit the White House. But the logs often don’t explain the purpose of the visits, or who the meetings were with.
The Obama administration claims that it has “taken unprecedented steps to increase transparency by releasing visitor records from the system each month.” But releasing the records matters very little if the information is absent or clouded with inaccuracies."
"Only later did we discover — through outside investigators‘ efforts — that these key officials were circumventing the new “policy” by meeting with lobbyists across the street from the White House at Caribou Coffee, as well as other spots so that their meetings would not show up on the logs."
"Needless to say, debates over ObamaCare were not broadcast on C-SPAN as was also promised. Bills were not posted on-line for five days before they were voted upon to allow citizen comment and time for politicians to read. As National Review’s Jim Geraghty has observed, all of Obama’s promises have an expiration date (and back in March of last year, he posted a partial listing of these expired promises). Time for an update, Mr. Geraghty.
One could go on and on regarding fibs about his budget, ObamaCare, and much else.
Louis Brandeis famously said that “sunlight is the best disinfectant”. When combined with the administration’s politically-motivated filtering of Freedom of Information requests (and the White House’s refusal to release information that is the subject of the FOI requests), there does not seem to be much disinfecting — or change — going on during the Obama era."

Could this be the background Obama has spent 2 million to keep hidden? I don't buy all of this but it does seem to wrap up many loose ends. I put here the points this person could document, assess from his background and credentials or reasonable assumptions made from the foundation he built.
SURPRISE! SURPRISE!…OBAMA IS A LIFETIME CRIMINAL!…Obama may [...DOES] have a criminal past…

As an IRS tax examiner, one of many former federal jobs, I have seen what it appears Barry Soetoro has done, mostly by illegal aliens attempting to acquire a new identity in the U.S and/or criminals looking to acquire a new ID.
Barry, AKA Obama, was lawfully adopted by a foreign national, Lolo Soetoro, and Barry’s name was legally changed to “Barry Soetoro”. (Barry’s own admission) Barry Soetoro was also made an official legal Indonesian citizen. (again Barry’s own admission) The adoption would be noted in Barry’s vital statistics record in Hawaii on his original birth certificate…
OR Lolo Soetoro may have always been Barry’s legal birth father.
"Barry’s mother dropped him as a dependent for some reason, maybe even when Barry was adopted by Lolo Soetoro. His mother’s passport records dropped Barry as a dependent indicating Barry was no longer a legal dependent of his mother. (The passport records of his mother have been produced showing Barry was no longer a dependent when Barry was permanently residing in Indonesia.) Barry went to Hawaii to live with his alleged grand parents after Lolo Soetoro and Barry’s mother divorced.
A “certificate of live birth” can have names changed on it including a child’s birth name, and birth parent’s names. Even a modified date of birth can be on a “certificate of live birth”. This occurs frequently for adopted children where the birth parent does not want the child to know who they are. The public has no idea who Barry’s real birth father is or who Barry’s real birth mother is. (Barry could have been adopted by his mother) The original birth certificate is the only legal vital statistics record of a person’s birth parents, birth location, birth date, etc… I can get a “certificate of live birth” for a dead person; I cannot get a birth certificate of a dead person without “Deceased” on it. (I’ve tried)"
"The public knows Barry Soetoro finished high school in Hawaii as Barry Soetoro and attended Occidental as Barry Soetoro where he did drugs and flunked out of school. After dropping out of Occidental, Barry showed up in New York, homeless and on drugs. (Barry’s own admission) Barry then hooked up with a Pakistani to live with and traveled back to Indonesia on his new boyfriend’s dime to renew his Indonesian passport and traveled to Pakistan with him."
"Barry Soetoro returned to New York from Pakistan and began using the fictitious name “Obama” for some reason. (again Barry Soetoro’s own admission)
After spending some time in New York allegedly working under the name “Obama”, It appears Barry used the fictitious name “Barrack Hussein Obama” for the first time to file his federal taxes in Connecticut at a Post Office Box for the purpose of evading paying taxes in New York and /or to establish a new identity. (This is a felony with no statute of limitation.)
When the IRS received Barry Soetoro’s federal tax filing, the IRS could not attach the name Barrack Hussein Obama to the SSI number provided or the address provided. So the IRS assigned the fictitious name “Barrack Hussein Obama” a tax ID number for a person from Connecticut (Where Barry unlawfully filed a federal tax form using a false name). Barry Soetoro began using the tax ID number as his SSI number when using the fictitious name Barrack Obama. This is why Barry Soetoro has a Connecticut SSI number. When I worked for the IRS, I saw this occur more than once and yes, it is a felony to knowingly file a fraudulent federal tax forms. Most of the politicians that cheat on their taxes claim it was an accident. That is how they get away with their tax cheat crimes. Using a fake name is no accident.
It appears Barry fled New York to Chicago using his new identity to get a job . He likely ordered a fake diploma to bolster his new identity as “Obama”. Fake Diploma’s were very big in the 80′s and diploma mills were even being used by federal workers to get promotions. There is evidence his alleged attendance at Columbia was faked (Barry never attended Columbia) and Barry lied his way into Harvard (he had no transcripts to get in)… Including telling the Saudi royal family he was fighting in Afghanistan with the Muslim Jihad against the Russians, so they would help him get into a law school.
The Saudi’s apparently loved Barry’s story of Jihad in Pakistan/Afghanistan and paid for Barry to attend Harvard under the name “Obama”. The Saudi family has admitted to paying for Obama to attend Harvard and gave Harvard a gift of $20 million dollars. Harvard in turn made their special attendy President of the law review a person that never wrote a single law review…. I guess that is what $20 million buys at Harvard."
"After I looked at Barry’s selective service filing I noticed it was most likely fraudulent too based on the name he used. Barry did not start using the name “Obama” until he returned from Pakistan (long after he flunked out of school in California) His selective service record (maintained in Chicago coincidentally) shows he registered at a Hawaiian post office as “Obama” in Sept 1980… Problem, Barry was getting high in California at Occidental in Sept 1980 (Barry’s own admission) and was not using the fictitious name “Obama” at that time. Barry began using the fictitious name “Obama” only after he returned from Pakistan. The selective service filing is fraudulent."
"Barry still could not get a real job, because he was still a fraud, even with his Harvard degree in hand he could lie and take the Bar exam, but he could not work as a lawyer for a major law firm without a back ground investigation and he would never pass one. So, Michelle got Barry a job at her law firm. Barry never filed a case alone and never filed a motion. He wrote lots of memos according to the law firm where Barry worked. (I think they know Barry is a fraud and don’t want to be sued by previous clients) Barry rescinded his law licenses, so as not to be disbarred for fraud. The Bar knows Barry lied on his application. Michelle also had to turn over her law license for her involvement in corruption with the Chicago mayors office.
With time on his hands Barry, a well spoken black man, was able to get elected to a state office, oddly because he looked for fraud in his opponents voter registrations and got his opponent disqualified from running. Barry, a well versed liar was a natural in state politics. He used his political influence to get himself a position as a lecturer at Chicago’s law school. Barry embellished this position as a “professor of law” which everyone knows is completely false. Barry was not a professor or even a specialist at anything but lying."
"On a whim Barry ran for United States Senate for the State of Illinois. Politicians do this all the time to make a name for themselves even if they can’t win. At the time the Republican Ryan was a shoe in for the Senate seat, so no real Democrat contenders entered the race, but Barry did. On a fluke after the primary Ryan’s wife Jeri Ryan (Seven of nine from Star Trek) went public that her husband was making her have sex with other people while he watched. Ryan dropped out and Alan Keyes moved from Maryland to run against Barry Soetoro.
The election got all kinds of press because there was no blacks in the U.S. Senate and one of these black men was going to be a Senator. Alan Keyes did his best to warn everyone Barry was not who he claimed to be, but the public saw him as a carpet bagger. Barry kept the lie going and presented himself as a clean black man that talked like a white man… Illinois elected Barry to U.S. Senate. The Democrats had already began scrubbing Barry’s background when Ryan dropped out.
Phil, Barry’s boy friend from Occidental, was found working in California as a communications specialist (receptionist) for a dental hygienist school and given a diploma from Columbia and cover story. The rest of Barry’s drug friends were all given jobs or money by the Democrat machine to keep quiet."
Could some of this be what Trump has been alleging? If he found stuff like this through investigators, could he be planning to use it as a springboard to the Oval office? The media can play Trump as a fool but frankly, The Donald doesn't make stupid mistakes. He does everything with a purpose. By going out alone like this competing candidates have denounced his assertions. They would lose steam if he produced imperical evidence and ALL of the Democratic leaders would be as popular as Nixon.

Presidential Eligibility Semantics
By Pieter Nosworthy
http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/0 4/presidential_eligibility_seman.html
"It is critical that anyone interested in this constitutional point of order understand the fundaments of the argument: first, that the phrase that gives opportunity to those citizens desiring to hold presidential office -- "natural born Citizen" -- is used only once in the entirety of our highest legal document; and second, the premise for its insertion into the document as one of the three restrictive caveats for potential candidates (along with age and residency). In a nutshell, the phrase "natural born Citizen" stems from concerns by John Jay (later first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court) that he penned to the constitutional convention president, General George Washington, in 1787.
Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American army shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen."
"The semantics of presidential eligibility has been ignored to the detriment of our integrity as a constitutional republic. The following definitions are critical to anyone desiring clarity as to why some believe Mr. Obama is worthy of removal from office.
"natural born Citizen" - based on the reasoned inclusion into our Constitution (intent as given by Mr. Jay and approved without debate by the Constitutional Convention), this can only mean those Americans who were born without allegiance to a foreign power. The early office holders were all naturalized citizens and grandfathered, accordingly, into the newly constituted presidency. Those born after the adoption were elected as native-born citizens of parents who were themselves citizens. Prior to Mr. Obama, the lone exception was President Arthur, whose father naturalized fourteen years after his son's birth (a fact known to be true only in the last two years). "
"Dual nationality citizen -- a recent understanding in the citizenship of Americans is recognition by the courts of those with fealty to nations other than our own. Many nations around the world do not recognize such multinational allegiances, but regardless, there are Americans who have obligations to foreign powers as noted by our Department of State:
The U.S. Government recognizes that dual nationality exists but does not encourage it as a matter of policy because of the problems it may cause. The country where a dual national is located generally has a stronger claim to that person's allegiance.
However, dual nationals owe allegiance to both the United States and the foreign country. They are required to obey the laws of both countries. Either country has the right to enforce its laws, particularly if the person later travels there.
The purpose of those who find fault with the president's eligibility is to reconcile someone born "[owing] allegiance to both the United States and the foreign country" and "required to obey the laws of both countries" with the qualifications stipulated for a "strong check to the admission of Foreigners." How is it that someone can be born with allegiance to a foreign power and yet, at birth, be considered "natural born"?"

The Senate defined “natural born Citizen” in 2008, and Obama didn’t qualify
http://www.oilforimmigration.org/facts/ ?p=6665
The simple truth in evidence is Obama’s own declaration that he was born of a British father and is therefore not a “natural born Citizen.”
Of course one could turn to that great legal scholar, Sen. Patrick Leahy, who agreed with former judge and HSA Secretary Michael Chertoff in 2008 when Chertoff said, “It is my understanding that a natural born citizen has two parents who are citizens.”
"our framers said it simply and clearly, citing Vattel. A natural born citizen is born on our soil of citizen parents. Obama is ineligible, and if we have to have another revolution to return to the values which make our republic great, we will prevail."

In October 2007, Obama proclaimed, “I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank.” Speaking of Iraq in February 2008, candidate Barack Obama said, “I opposed this war in 2002. I will bring this war to an end in 2009. It is time to bring our troops home.” The following month, under fire from Hillary Clinton, he reiterated, “I was opposed to this war in 2002….I have been against it in 2002, 2003, 2004, 5, 6, 7, 8 and I will bring this war to an end in 2009. So don’t be confused.”

IRISH BLONDE IN A CASINO
An attractive blonde from Cork , Ireland arrived at the casino. She
seemed a little intoxicated and bet twenty-thousand Euros on a single
roll of the dice.
She said, 'I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm
completely nude'.
With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an
Irish brogue yelled, 'Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!'
As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed...'YES!
YES! I WON, I WON!'
She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her
clothes and quickly departed. The dealers stared at each other
dumbfounded.
Finally, one of them asked, 'What did she roll?'
The other answered, 'I don't know - I thought you were watching.'
MORAL OF THE STORY -
Not all Irish are drunks,
Not all blondes are dumb,
But all men...are men.

Alot bugs me thinking about that stump speech billed as a memorial event.
So we are to believe that the university did the planning although the President of the United States would be in attendance? Yeah, like that happens. The Obama gang is nothing if not expert in event control. So pardon me, Bobby Gibbs, if I ain’t buying your propaganda.
Laura Ingram nailed it. The POTUS could have ended the celebatory atmosphere by simply raising his hand and saying to the crowd “Please, please.” letting them know this was a “memorial”, not a campaign kick off rally.
The shooting was on Saturday. The pep rally was on Wednesday. That’s four days, folks. Anytime I have had to order t-shirts for a printing, it took two weeks. Something is very, very fishy about this. The shirts were bought in California. They had to be designed, printed as well as shipped. So even if it only took a day to ship (shipped on Tuesday and arriving Wed. morn) they had to be ordered by Sunday. (ordered Sunday, printed up overnight and Monday, shipped on Tuesday for Wednesday arrival) So those shirts had to be ordered the very next day after the shooting. On top of that, the t-shirt company would have had to design the imprint and the silk screening machines would have had to be set up.
Cost of t-shirt (a cheap one) wholesale? Around $1.98. Cost of printing is usually double that, depending on the quantity. That comes to around 5 bucks a shirt, not $3. And that doesn’t include shipping. How do I know all this? I used to be in the retail t-shirt business (Hanes, Jersee, Fruit of the Loom, and a few other brands). But the cost here they are saying is $3 a shirt?
The White House should have coordinated with the University for the memorial program. And if it wasn’t a pep rally, why were the concession stands open (as reported in the paper)?
20,000 tee shirts, at least that many “Together We Thrive” printed programs, bus service…etc. This thing cost a heck of alot more than $60,000. In 3 days??? They must of been organizing this since Sunday. Would somebody mind telling me just what the heck they mean by minimal input from the White House? That means they did coordinate in some way, right?
Even just the security surrounding his attendance at an event that large would have taken four days – or more. Nobody gets near POTUS without a background check. I’m curious though – anybody hear whether they set up those same scanning machines and pat down procedures at this “memorial” service that they are subjecting us to at airports? It would seem to me that even a wanna-be pretend POTUS is a pretty high value target otherwise. LET US NOT FORGET: The city just had a whacko show up and shoot a politician at a gathering, right?
But what I'm saying is 20,000 shirts in 4 days? I lay you odds that this was planned before the shooting. that these shirts were actually planned for the Obama 2012 election campaign and they rushed out 20k with "Tucon" on them; the design was ready to go. That means the WH had ALOT of planning in this event.
I mean guess who had "Together We Thrive" in 2008??? oops…. Organizing for America…

This was a preplanned political stump speech, pure and simple. Obama took this tragic incident and used it to start his 2012 re-election run. Disgraceful.
So we are to believe that the university did the planning although the President of the United States would be in attendance? Yeah, like that happens. The Obama gang is nothing if not expert in event control. So pardon me, Bobby Gibbs, if I ain’t buying your propaganda.

Woke up this morning early, the only one in the house. Fed the dogs, had bagel and grilled turkey breast for breakfast. Walked past the tree several times but haven't felt like opening any presents... evem to see how many are there.
Met James and friend Matt at the Palms to watch Tron:Legacy in Imax. The soundtrack was great; the movie didn't live up to potential to me. The original was better with less. Casting was great; the leads did well and the girl really pepped up most scenes. But the story was flat... as if the "Grid" was a static universe. Fynn goes on about these Isos coming from nowhere and changing everything. But their world had no changes since things like the world wide web, Wifi, GPS, high speed, Apps... 20 years of advancement. It's a pocket universe... but they were able to get a pager call out? I hear it's gonna be a TV show on Disney channel and I see much room for expansion and storylines... hope it does better.
Grabbed some Kung Pao Chicken (thank goodness Chopstix was open today) then came home. Gonna play CoH a bit, do some straightening and hope Emily comes home today. Also hoping a certain someone plans to meet up sometime this evening while she's in town. Those are the highlights of my holiday. Kind of reaching a point where I'm not gonna accept being an option in other people's life anymore. One of the reasons it's difficult to get hold of me is I get tired of people dissappointing me repeatedly or just standing me up when I put my life on hold for them. Isolation and dissappointment don't create beneficial feelings.

Friday was my last day working for Apple; I'm moving to a new position monday with an equally huge and important corporation. But something is amiss. I consider myself a Harbenger of Doom to the places I work, because when I leave it is usually due to, or shortly preceeds dramatic and tragic change. Examples from my past:
* I left the pizza shop; manager commited suicide, the franchise went under.
* quit aerial photography, the company closed
* left electonics store when the 60 store chain went chapter 11
* When I left Whirlpool they shut down the productionline I worked on and lost 1,000 people.
* When I left the Billiad shop, it turned into a pizza place and closed within 2 weeks.
* left the Marriott in Key Largo. Shortly after the owner was gunned down execution-style with 20 bullets in his car on aligator alley.
* Left fine dining restaurant and the owners split the company up after divorce/fight.
* left Sau Paulo at the Rio, next week it went from 24 hr to morning-lunchtime dropping 2/3rds staff.
* left Bellagio when Hurricane Katrina destroyed Beau Rivage casino. Hiring freeze and they dropped 250 staff just from F&B area.
* downsized from Bally's when they chopped up the departments
So, naturally I'm curious to see if anything suddenly happens with this place. I did see a new change to how our department will handles calls and I think it will start to suck pretty fast and may affect their customer satisfaction scores. But at the rate my luck works with leaving... I'm afraid a plane may crash into the place!
Earlier this week, there's nothing like getting a tire changed in 104 degree weather. It also ate up most of my leftover summer fun money.

So why was Sherrod bounced? By the guy who called Ma. police stupid? Friend of Rev. Jeremiah? The Uniter? Which bus did he use?
Andrew Brietbart shows just how dangerous he is to the Liberal left media and punditry. Releasing what appears to be a scolding example of a person recalling when she discriminated against a person of color (white) while in government office... and is cheered on by the audience... a chapter of NAACP. Reportedly showing the full video, it was so outrageous in it's appearance of racism, within the Day she was ousted from her position. Was denounced by the NAACP. Made many pundits/bloggers/media sources backpedal stances, ignore the story or try to gin up makebelieve examples with the Tea Party movement to counterbalance the argument. They moved very fast to remove this embarrassment to their "dialogue" on who's the most racist in politics.
One slight problem.
It was NOT the complete speech.
There was a slight portion editied out which changed the parameters of the speech. The tale told in the speech is quite true, the event occured and the crowd did cheer. The reason why; Sherrod was telling how she had done that in the past... and had changed her ways and feelings, had bettered herself. She had faced the discrimination in her own heart, and in confession was cleansing it.
Brietbart was making a point. The left MSM and pundits have been editing, snipping, mischaracterizing or just FLAT OUT making shit up to attach and attack with the racism theme to those who oppose them. He just showed them what it feels like and how ugly they really are in doing it. When they plant signs and stooges in Tea Party rallys, twist comments of politicians with different views or accept claims of accounts widely filmed with NO evidence they ever occured... they create hate. And this time they shot down one of their own to appear "above reproach". The problem with the left is, their tactics work just as well against them. It's just rare to find someone on the right willing to go low enough to employ them.
I’m wondering how long it take before Sherrod files suit against the government alleging she was fired because she was black. And how much will her settlement be?
Here's the full speech:

I liked the example where the person was trained to use MSoffice, excel and powerpoint, then was sent to interview at... a Dollar Store.
After Job Training, Still Scrambling for a Job
" For six weeks, Mr. Valle, 49, absorbed instruction in spreadsheets and word processing. He tinkered with his résumé. But the interviews his caseworker eventually arranged were for low-wage jobs, and they were mobbed by desperate applicants. More than a year later, Mr. Valle remains among the record 6.8 million Americans who have been officially jobless for six months or longer. He recently applied for welfare benefits.
“Training was fruitless,” he said. “I’m not seeing the benefits. Training for what? No one’s hiring.”
"
"In the last 18 months, the Obama administration has embraced more promising approaches to training focused on faster-growing areas like renewable energy and health care. But most money has been directed at the same sorts of programs that in past years have largely failed to steer laid-off workers toward new careers, say experts, and now the number of job openings is vastly outnumbered by people out of work.
“It’s such an ugly situation that job training can’t solve it,” said Ross Eisenbrey, a job training expert at the Economic Policy Institute, a labor-oriented research institution in Washington, and a former commissioner of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. “When you have five people unemployed for every vacancy, you can train all the people you want and unfortunately only one-fifth of the people will get hired. Training doesn’t create jobs.”"

Illinois Stops Paying Its Bills, but Can’t Stop Digging Hole
Comptroller Daniel W. Hynes. The state faces a deficit of at least $12 billion.

"States cannot go bankrupt, technically, but signs of fiscal crackup are easy to see. Legislators left the capital this month without deciding how to pay 26 percent of the state budget. The governor proposes to borrow $3.5 billion to cover a year’s worth of pension payments, a step that would cost about $1 billion in interest. And every major rating agency has downgraded the state; Illinois now pays millions of dollars more to insure its debt than any other state in the nation.
“Their pension is the most underfunded in the nation,” said Karen S. Krop, a senior director at Fitch Ratings. “They have not made significant cuts or raised revenues. There’s no state out there like this. They can’t grow their way out of this.” "
"The federal dollars are nearly spent. Last month, local governments nationwide shed more than 20,000 jobs. Should the largest struggling states — like California, New York or Illinois — lay off tens of thousands more in coming months, or default on payments, the reverberations could badly damage a weakened economy and push housing prices down still further. "
Isn't it funny that they don't make the distinction that these states have all been under Democratic control for years? And you can chart their decline from those changes in power?
"More broadly, Illinois is caught between blue state convictions about social safety nets and a red state aversion to taxes. For years, the Democratic-controlled legislature has passed budgets that are, in effect, in deficit. Lawmakers routinely skip around the state’s balanced-budget law, with few consequences. (Republicans are near monolithic in voting against any tax increases and borrowings. When one broke ranks to try to keep the pension solvent, he was stripped of a committee position, reducing his pay and pension.)
Illinois’s Cash Balance and Overdue Payments “The pension move was Enron-esque,” said Mike Lawrence, a press secretary to the former Republican governor Jim Edgar, who was the last governor to sign an income tax increase. “Blagojevich was not a tax-and-spend governor; he was a spend-and-borrow governor.”
Note how they taint the Republicans here by implying that they are so stingy against voting to increase taxes. The state doesn't NEED more taxes to become solvent... they NEED to stop SPENDING! If they did, they'd be fine! Besides the Dems are in control; if they voted in unity the taxes would pass and the Dem. Governor would sign them... (then they would spend even MORE money).
Yes, Edgar was the last elected Gov. to pass an income tax increase. He was also the last to leave a surplus budget, not be prosecuted for crimes, reduce the size of state government and to leave with approval ratings in the 60's.
"As comptroller, Mr. Hynes has trained his attention on the public and nonprofit agencies that rely on state money; he tends to roll his eyes at the notion that slashing alone is a solution.
“Only the most delusional people think you can solve this without raising taxes,” he said.
The legislature has a different instinct: to borrow. In good times, that leads to unsightly imbalances. In bad times, it becomes catastrophic. This year, leaders gave the governor authority to move money around and left town to campaign.
“Each budget has gotten historically worse during this recession,” said Laurence Msall, president of the Civic Federation, a policy research organization. “We’ve borrowed more and pushed larger unpaid bills into the future.” "
Read these last words carefully, people. Our current President came form this very failing model. And he has been using the same system and we will suffer the same results. He is borrowing, printing and spending money at your future's expense... and all his lies about not raising your taxes are falling apart in the light of day. Wake up your Congressional Rep.s and Senators and tell them to "Cut him off from spending your money!".

"Then there is Obama's decision to impose a six-month moratorium on deepwater oil drilling in the Gulf. This penalizes companies with better safety records than BP's and will result in many advanced drilling rigs being sent to offshore oil fields abroad.
The justification offered was an Interior Department report supposedly "peer reviewed" by "experts identified by the National Academy of Engineering." But it turned out the drafts the experts saw didn't include any recommendation for a moratorium. Eight of the cited experts have said they oppose the moratorium as more economically devastating than the oil spill and "counterproductive" to safety.
This was blatant dishonesty by the administration, on an Orwellian scale. In defense of a policy that has all the earmarks of mindless panic, that penalizes firms and individuals guilty of no wrongdoing and that will worsen rather than improve our energy situation. Ineffective thuggery.
And what about the decision not to waive the Jones Act, which bars foreign-flag vessels from coming to the aid of the Gulf cleanup? The Bush administration promptly waived it after Katrina in 2005. The Obama administration hasn't and claims unconvincingly that, gee, there aren't really any foreign vessels that could help.
The more plausible explanation is that this is a sop to the maritime unions, part of the union movement that gave Obama and other Democrats $400 million in the 2008 campaign cycle. It's the Chicago way: Dance with the girl that brung ya."
Yes, we can't forget that while Obama is President for all of us, he is first and foremost a man of the unions... not the people. And I can't help but think that is the extent of enviromental damage had been lessened then he couldn't get as much political clout to ram his preferred energy strategy through. This disaster give him motion to halt drilling, attack republican standings and impose taxes for his green agenda... we'll just lose alot of jobs first.
"Or the decision to deny Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal's proposal to deploy barges to skim oil from the Gulf's surface. Can't do that until we see if they've got enough life preservers and fire equipment. That inspired blogger Rand Simberg to write a blog post he dated June 1, 1940: "The evacuation of British and French troops from the besieged French city of Dunkirk was halted today, over concerns that many of the private vessels that had been deployed for the task were unsafe for troop transport."
Let's not forget this crisis is happening to a bunch of Red states that didn't vote for him, either. Pity New Oeleans has to suffer 3 disaters: Katrina, the Oil spill... and Obama canning the oil industry which is the 2nd largest job supplier after tourism.
"Finally, the $20 billion escrow fund that Obama pried out of the BP treasury at the White House when he talked for the first time, 57 days after the rig exploded, with BP Chairman Tony Hayward. It's pleasing to think that those injured by BP will be paid off speedily, but House Republican Joe Barton had a point, though an impolitic one, when he called this a "shakedown."
For there already are laws in place that insure that BP will be held responsible for damages and the company has said it will comply. So what we have is government transferring property from one party, an admittedly unattractive one, to others, not based on pre-existing laws but on decisions by one man, pay czar Kenneth Feinberg.
Feinberg gets good reviews from everyone. But the Constitution does not command "no person . . . shall . . . be deprived of life, liberty or property, without due process of law except by the decision of a person as wise and capable as Kenneth Feinberg." The Framers stopped at "due process of law."
Hey, who needs 3 branches of Government when Obam can just by fiat impose what HE wants? Ever heard of a Constitutional Scholar who, when he takes office... doesn't follow the Constitution?

"It isn't Mr. Obama's fault that an oil rig blew in the Gulf and a gusher resulted. He already had two wars and the great recession. But the lack of adequate federal government response appropriately redounds on him. In a Wall Street Journal investigation published Thursday, reporters Jeffrey Ball and Jonathan Weisman wrote the federal government at first moved quickly, but soon "faltered." "The federal government, which under the law is in charge of fighting large spills, had to make things up as it went along." It hadn't anticipated a spill this big. The first weekend in May, when water was rough, contractors hired by BP to lay boom "mostly stayed ashore," according to a local official. "Shrimpers took matters into their own hands, laying 18,000 feet of boom," compared to about 4,000 feet by BP's contractors."
" The president's failure to turn things around Tuesday night with a speech damaged his reputation as a man whose rhetorical powers are such that he can turn things around with a speech. He lessened his own mystique. Reaction among his usual supporters was, in the words of Time's Mark Halperin, "fierce, unforeseen disappointment." Dan Froomkin of the Huffington Post called the speech "profoundly underwhelming," a "feeble call to action." Former Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich called the speech "vapid." Lynn Sweet of the Chicago Sun-Times said the president looked "awkward and robotic." MSNBC's Keith Olbermann famously said "It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days." "
" Two growing weaknesses showed up in small phrases. The president said he had consulted among others "experts in academia" on what to do about the calamity. This while noting, again, that his energy secretary has a Nobel Prize. There is a growing meme that Mr. Obama is too impressed by credentialism, by the meritocracy, by those who hold forth in the faculty lounge, and too strongly identifies with them. He should be more impressed by those with real-world experience. It was the "small people" in the shrimp boats who laid the boom.
And when speaking of why proper precautions and safety measures were not in place, the president sternly declared, "I want to know why." But two months in he should know. And he should be telling us. Such empty sternness is . . . empty.
Throughout the speech the president gestured showily, distractingly, with his hands. Politicians do this now because they're told by media specialists that it helps them look natural. They don't look natural, they look like Ann Bancroft gesticulating to Patty Duke in "The Miracle Worker.""
"There is still a sense about Mr. Obama that he needs George W. Bush in order to give his presidency full shape and meaning. In this he is like Jimmy Carter, who needed Richard Nixon, or rather the Watergate scandal, which made him president. Mr. Carter needed Richard Nixon standing in the corner looking like he'd spent the night sleeping in his suit as it hangs in the closet. The image is from Joe McGinnis's "The Selling of the President, 1968." Mr. Carter needed to be able to point at Nixon and say, "I'm not him. He dirty, me clean. You hate him, like me." Carter's presidency was given coherence and meaning by Nixon, Watergate, and without it that presidency seemed formless. Mr. Obama, in the same way, needs Mr. Bush standing in the corner like Boo Radley, saying "Let's invade something!" But Mr. Bush is wisely back home in Texas finishing a book, and the president never sounds weaker than when he suggests his predicament is all his predecessor's fault.
Mr. Obama needs Mr. Bush in the corner and doesn't have him. That's part of why he looks so alone out there."
Yes, Obama no longer has his "security blanket" to wrap himself in for protection. He has to be responsible, and has no experience in that.
"But it's also true that among Democrats—and others—when the talk turns to the presidency it turns more and more to Hillary Clinton. "We may have made a mistake. She would have been better." Sooner or later the secretary of state is going to come under fairly consistent pressure to begin to consider 2012. A hunch: She won't really want to. Because she has enjoyed being loyal. She didn't only prove to others she could be loyal, a team player. She proved it to herself. And it has only added to her luster."
